Q:Will I have to schedule an appointment?
A: Yes, it is important to schedule an appointment for each and every client to ensure prompt services of all test results.
Q:How is the collection process performed?
A: The Certified DNA Examiner (CDE) will use what is called a buccal swab to collect a sample from the inner cheek or jaw line of each person being tested. Once collected, the client is asked to fill out a Chain of Custody (COC) form which gives consent for our laboratory to test and provide the results. The client is also required to allow New Life Solutions, Ltd. to take a photo of the person(s) being tested in the event there are changes in the type of testing status (legal or informational).
Q:How soon will I receive the test results?
A: Regular delivery usually takes approximately 2 - 4 business days. However, rush delivery is available upon request for an additional charge.
Q:What type of DNA testing does New Life Solutions, Ltd. provide?
A: For "informational" purposes: This type of paternity test is for the individual who
do not need the results for the courts, legal custody, other governmental reasons.
